FORT TOTTEN, N.D. (AP) – Fires that authorities say might be linked to fireworks displaced 10 families on the Spirit Lake Nation reservation in North Dakota.

Tribal Emergency Manager Joe Albert Sr. tells WDAZ-TV that the families are being housed at the tribe's casino and getting help from the Red Cross.

The fires happened between June 29 and July 3. Two houses and an apartment building in St. Michael were damaged, along with a house in Fort Totten.

An official cause of the fires has not been determined.
