MANY FARMS, Ariz. (AP) – Navajo President Ben Shelly is holding a series of public meetings across the reservation this week.

The meetings scheduled from Wednesday to Sunday will give tribal members a chance to ask the president's administration anything they'd like.

Shelly is encouraging entrepreneurs to attend a discussion Friday in Window Rock on economic development. Shelly had campaigned on creating jobs and stimulating the tribal economy.

Shelly says he, Vice President Rex Lee Jim and some of the tribe's division directors will be on hand to answer questions from the public.

The first meeting will be held Wednesday in Many Farms.

The sixth is scheduled Sunday in Beclabito in northwestern New Mexico.
