OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) – A federal judge has handed down a six-year prison term to a Tonkawa man who was accused of theft and causing a fire that destroyed a duplex on tribal land.

The U.S. Attorney's office said Monday 20-year-old Kyle Enloe also was ordered to serve five years of supervised release and to pay $181,906 in restitution.

Enloe was accused of breaking into a duplex owned by the Housing Authority of the Tonkawa Tribe, stealing gold coins and other items and then intentionally setting fire to a motorcycle on the porch. Prosecutors say the fire destroyed the duplex, but the family inside escaped injury.

Prosecutors say Enloe pleaded guilty to arson, second-degree burglary, and theft of personal property within Indian Country.

His attorney, Jeffrey Byers, didn't immediately return a message seeking comment.
