GRAND RAPIDS, Minn. (AP) – Authorities have issued an Amber Alert for a teenager who was abducted at gunpoint in Grand Rapids in northern Minnesota.
The Bureau of Criminal Apprehension says 17-year-old Christopher Merrill Lucas of Onamia (oh-NAY'-mee-uh) was abducted by three males who got out of an SUV around 1:15 p.m. Saturday. The vehicle is described as a black Suburban or Yukon, possibly from the mid-1990s, with tinted windows from the passenger compartment back.
Lucas is described as a Native American, 5-foot-10 and 169 pounds with brown eyes and short black hair. He was wearing a short-sleeve camouflage jacket and blue jeans.
Authorities are looking for four male suspects in all. They were dressed in blue jeans, black ski masks and black gloves.
