MINOT, N.D. (AP) – A second man says he will plead guilty to an assault on the Turtle Mountain Indian Reservation.
Clint Beston of Belcourt is charged in federal court with assault resulting in serious bodily injury, and aiding and abetting. Prosecutors say Beston and Joseph Great Walker attacked Francis Cree in March 2009.
Court documents show that Cree was struck in the leg several times with a bat or bar and required surgery for a broken leg.
Great Walker pleaded guilty last month.
Beston and Great Walker face maximum sentences of 10 years in prison.
