GRAND FORKS, N.D. (AP) – A Devils Lake woman faces federal charges related to theft from the Spirit Lake Sioux Tribe.
A written release from the office of U.S. Attorney Tim Purdon says 42-year-old Kimberly Carlson made an initial appearance in federal district court in Grand Forks on Wednesday. She has been indicted on two counts of embezzlement and theft from a tribal organization.
