ADA, Okla. – A Chickasaw student is intent on trailblazing a path to success after achieving perfect scores on both the SAT and ACT, an incredibly rare accomplishment.

According to collegeboard.org, of the nearly 1.7 million students who took the SAT in 2015, only 504 got a perfect score. According to act.org, approximately 1.9 million students nationwide took the ACT in 2015 with only 1,598 earning a perfect score.

Chloe Ayers, 16, is currently a senior at Colleyville Heritage High School located near Dallas. Now that she has made perfect scores on both standardized tests, Chloe will have a wide range of options when it comes to choosing which college she wants to attend.

“I’d like to go to MIT [Massachusetts Institute of Technology] or Harvard,” she said. “I always wanted to go there. I visited MIT in March and I liked the campus. It’s very unique. I’m very interested in science and math, and most likely will study medicine. I’d like to be a neurobiologist.”

Chloe excels at biology, chemistry and calculus and competes in the annual Science Olympiad games on her school’s team. The competition consists of science tests and construction exercises.

Chloe is ranked number one in her senior class of 551 students. She is a member of the National Honor Society and National Art Honor Society.

Along with her focus on academic achievement, she is also actively involved in community activities. Chloe ended her junior year with more than 200 community service hours and is recognized as a community scholar ambassador through her school’s Community Scholar Ambassador program.

Additionally, Chloe is making waves in another extracurricular sport–jump rope. She currently serves on the United States Jump Rope Federation Jumper Advisory Board as one of 10 nationally elected community spokespersons for the association.

“I also am a competitive jumper,” she said. “I am a national record holder and Grand National Champion. I have competed for and won positions on Team USA three times (2012, 2014 and 2016), and have been chosen to represent the United States internationally in Hong Kong and Sweden.”

Chloe’s national record in speed jumping is 798 jumps in only two minutes. She is ranked as one of the top 50 jumpers in the world.

Chickasaw Nation Governor Bill Anoatubby congratulated Chloe on her accomplishments.

“We applaud Chloe for her exceptional performance on these challenging exams, number one ranking in her high school class and national record in speed jumping,” said Gov. Anoatubby. “While these amazing accomplishments show Chloe has the potential for a bright future, her commitment to community service and willingness to represent the interests of her fellow athletes indicate she understands that true success is measured by the positive impact you have on those around you.”

Chloe is the child of Jonathan and Deanne Ayers. Her Chickasaw heritage comes from her father’s side of the family.

“I am proud of my heritage and hope that my conduct is a positive reflection on the Chickasaws,” she said.
