RAPID CITY, S.D. (AP) – A Native American summit on careers in health care will be held next month in Rapid City.

The second annual “Healing Indian Nations Through Research, Education and Outreach” summit will be held on Aug. 13-14.

The Rapid City Journal reports that the summit is designed for college faculty and for tribal college and university students interested in careers in health, science and research.

The summit is being hosted by the Northern Plains Native American Research Center.
