LAWRENCE, Kan. (AP) – A former Haskell Indian Nations University student alleges in a lawsuit that she was retaliated against after reporting that two football players raped her in a residence hall.

The Topeka Capital-Journal reports that the lawsuit filed Monday in federal court is the second alleging retaliation. An employee also sued earlier this month, alleging that she was demoted from her job as a student counselor after trying to help the student.

Two men, Jared Wheeler and Galen Satoe, were charged in Douglas County District Court with raping the woman when she was 19 in November 2014. Their trials ended in hung juries.

In the latest lawsuit, the unidentified woman alleges that administrators pressured a male student to bring a baseless claim against her this spring. She was expelled.
