CNI receives global accredation

Cherokee company recognized for commitment to quality in aerospace engineering

STILWELL, Okla. -- Cherokee Nation Industries, the manufacturing and distribution division of Cherokee Nation Businesses, has received Nadcap accreditation for its electronics cable and harness assemblies. Nadcap is the most comprehensive quality control accreditation for special processes within the aerospace industry.

“This is an outstanding achievement for our manufacturing division,” said Cherokee Nation Principal Chief Bill John Baker. “Our Cherokee workforce has established a reputation for excellence throughout multiple industries, and accreditations such as Nadcap are a great recognition of our commitment to our clients.”

The global accreditation program is administered through The Performance Review Institute and recognizes CNI for its commitment to quality by satisfying customer requirements and industry specifications.

CNI was established in 1969 to serve as the economic and workforce arm for the Cherokee Nation. The tribal enterprise specializes in aerospace and defense manufacturing, telecommunications and distribution services. The company has offices in Stilwell, Tahlequah, Pryor and Tulsa. CNI is a Cherokee Nation company. The Stilwell plant is the first location to receive the prestigious accreditation.
