MESA, Ariz.  – Following the success of RES California, the National Center for American Indian Enterprise Development (The National Center) announces that it will continue to expand its RES events.  The National Center’s RES Arizona will be held October 22nd – 24th, 2013 at the Wildhorse Pass Casino and Resort in Chandler, Arizona and is being presented by Chukchansi, Inc.  RES Arizona will also include the RES Arizona Golf Tournament to be held at the beautiful and award-winning Whirlwind Golf Resort.


RES Arizona is another multifaceted event from The National Center which will feature unparalleled access to respected tribal leaders, state and local elected officials and top CEO’s.  Attendees will benefit from high caliber networking, teaming opportunities, business development sessions, a business trade show, American Indian artisan market.  It’s just one more example of how the National Center is lifting up Native business across Indian Country.

The 38th Annual Indian Progress in Business Awards (INPRO), which is the longest standing and most prestigious Native American recognition event in the nation to acknowledge the accomplishments and contributions made by American Indians and those who support their economic and business development endeavors.


Twenty Grand Business Plan Competition. The National Center will present the “Twenty Grand Business Plan Competition” at RES Arizona as part of its commitment to promote commerce for tribal enterprises and privately owned Native American businesses.  This competition will feature both start-up and established Native American businesses for the chance to win a $20,000 cash award from The National Center.  Competitors will present their company’s business plan at RES Arizona to a panel of respected and accomplished entrepreneurs and business leaders who will serve as judges of the competition.


The National Center’s “Native American 40 Under 40”.  This very special award recognition highlights 40 American Indian leaders under 40 years of age who have demonstrated leadership, initiative, and dedication to achieve significant contributions in their businesses, communities, and to Indian Country. With the honoring of this year’s class of “Native American 40 under 40″ – the total number of “40 under 40″ recipients recognized has risen to 200.  ncaied.org/40-under-40


The National Center’s “American Indian Business Scholarships”.  Several scholarship awards will go to deserving American Indian undergraduate or graduate students majoring in business will be presented this year. Business Development Expo.   This expo is a dynamic, multi-day presentation focused on helping small businesses succeed through certification, contracting, teaming and partnerships, business plan development, strategic growth planning, importing and exporting, procurement assistance, and international business development. 


RES Arizona is part of the expansion of The National Center's highly successful National Reservation Economic Summit (National RES) into regionally focused, nationally attended and relevant events throughout the nation. The annual National RES will be held again March 17th – 20th, 2014 at the Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada.
