Chickasaw Nation to add 36 jobs in Aberdeen

ABERDEEN, S.D. (AP) – A Native American-owned business plans to add 36 jobs in Aberdeen.

Chickasaw Nation Industries Inc. already employs nine people in Aberdeen.

The Norman, Okla.-based company has more than a dozen subsidiaries in various locations in information technology, medical support, construction, aviation and aerospace technologies, business and administrative support services.

The new employees, who will start out making $11 to $13 an hour, will work on the sixth floor of the Federal Building.

The positions are part of a six-year contract that has to be renewed each year.
