Following full launch at RES DC, Native Edge is growing in membership
MESA, Ariz. – The National Center for American Indian Enterprise Development’s (National Center) Native Edge – the 24/7 cloud-based business training, networking, employment, and development ecosystem – is officially operational and open for business. The National Center unveiled the final components of the Native Edge during its recent Reservation Economic Summit in DC (RES DC), and is currently growing in membership and use. In fact within the last weeks, Tribal Tech, LLC and Cayuse Technologies have both posted new jobs to the Edge, giving users a glimpse of the possibilities created by the Edge.
“The National Center has been at the forefront of expanding business opportunities for Indian County, but the Native Edge promises to be one of the most innovative and valuable tools at our disposal,” said Gary Davis, National Center President and CEO. “The Native Edge offers a one-stop, interactive shop for Native American businesses to find employees, train their work force, network with other businesses, and discover new business opportunities, and these opportunities continue to grow. After years of development, our vision for the Native Edge has finally become reality, and we encourage all of Indian Country to sign up.”
The Native Edge consists of four primary components, which each feature interactive and easy-to-use materials. They include:
The Hire Edge, which helps Native American business owners find employees, and job seekers to find potential employers. It also helps Corporate Diversity Recruiters exceed their diversity goals by matching them with Native American workforce.
The Native to Native (N2N) Edge community allows businesses and entrepreneurs to network with each other and initiate new professional relationships.
The Training Edge, which provides business owners and their employees with interactive tools and training sessions to help in their professional development.
The Procurement Edge, which is a database for both federal and corporate procurement opportunities, and also allows for Native-owned businesses to partner and team with each other.
